Communications systems provide the following capabilities:

Vehicle Tracking: providing timely GPS coordinates for all of your equipment.  This information if provided in real-time can be used for calculating Estimated Arrival Times to notify you when a vehicle is running late and may not make the scheduled appointment.  You can also monitor vehicles that are running out of route as they veer off course which can be an invaluable security and efficiency tool.  Utilizing our available Internet Applications you can provide real-time tracking and mapping capabilities to your customers and fleet owners.

Two-Way Messaging: allows you to communicate with your drivers without waiting for them to stop and call you.  Both the drivers and your dispatch personnel will be more productive because it completely eliminates interruptions, long hold times, and un-productive telephone chit chat.  Specialized inbound messages (called forms or macros) allow a driver to easily request information such as directions or automatically update your dispatch system with load status information such as bill of lading numbers, stop arrival and departure information. Inbound messages from drivers can often be completing automated requiring no dispatcher interaction which allows your dispatchers to handle more drivers and provide more value to your company.  Automated outbound messages from the dispatch system efficiently communicates vital information including load information, directions, highway routing as well as other information already contained in the dispatch system further reducing user workloads.

Monitoring Information is also available in many systems providing advanced management capabilities such as engine warnings and failures, over speed indicators, questionable driving, and even state line crossing information to fully automate fuel tax mileage calculations.

Both the entry-level Strategy Live! system and the enterprise class Strategy5 provide interfaces to communications technology.
