The
Maintenance system manages inventory, yard checks, road service,
inspections, preventive maintenance, and tracks equipment maintenance
costs on a per unit basis. A preventive maintenance scheduling tool is
provided to alert dispatchers accessing a specific piece of equipment that
it may be due for preventive maintenance. This will be done in a manner
that does not restrict other activities of the computer system. The system
also prints the necessary reports and interfaces with pallet and tire
management, and all other necessary modules of Strategy5.
