The Strategy5 Qualcomm Interface is fully
integrated will all Strategy5 modules. All Qualcomm functions are
available from the Strategy5 program.
Message and Operational Functionality
- Two-way messaging with hot-key access to
all messaging functions from any point in marketing, dispatch and
maintenance.
- Messaging functions include: send, read,
forward, reply, save, print and group broadcast of free form or macro
based messages.
- Inbound messages are automatically
forwarded to tractor, dispatcher and fleet manager. With
recurring notification of messages waiting and auto-display while in
the dispatch screen.
- Optional routing of truck-to-truck
messages regardless of communications system.
- Optional Internet mail gateway allowing
two-way messaging for driver's family with auditing of usage for
driver or owner/operator settlement.
- Hot-key access to all Qualcomm
functionality such as unit configuration parameters, special feature
requests, etc.
Dispatch Functionality
- Driver initiated dispatch of planned
loads.
- dispatcher initiated dispatches
automatically forward appropriate load information to mobile unit.
- Automated and on-demand (driver or
dispatcher) transmission of current load information including:
- Shipment Details - Stops,
Pickup/Delivery Numbers, Contact Information, etc.
- Directions to next dispatched stop
location
- Pre-Plans (Next Load)
- Practical Routing from appropriate
mileage systems including PC Miler, Rand McNally and Prophesy.
- Automated Check Calls including current
status, delay, and hours of service information.
- Automated location reporting with
current driving speed and temperature setting recorded if available.
Duplicate location reports are updated to avoid excessive location
report. This information is made available to Strategy5 log
auditor, fuel tax reporting, dispatch, safety, driver settlement and
personnel modules.
- Automated Pickup and Drop completion
verified by coordinate matching. Loading information such as
bill of lading, weigh, piece count, seal numbers are automatically
updated and verified when appropriate.
- Recording of trip events such as fuel
stops, expense records, etc.
- Real-time analysis of tractor location,
hours of service, and stop appointments to pro-actively warn of
impending service failures.
- Exception handling of all transactions
that cannot be processed automatically.
